We appreciate the strong interest in the Lauge Jensen motorcycle that you have shown us and the questions you have asked. Some of the questions have been repeated, so we have chosen to answer the most common questions here:

Is it a Harley Davidson engine?

No, it is not. The shell is an Ultima and the inside parts (pistons, valves and cams) are designed by Lauge Jensen. What characterizes our engine is a three-point lubrication system, where most V-engines have a two-point lubrication system.

Is it legal to have the plate on the side?

Yes, Lauge Jensen is the first in the world with a world approval to place the plate on the side. This approval is an for the bike as a whole, and cannot be directly applied on other motorcycles.

How for does it ride on a liter of gasoline?

Our motorcycle runs up to 27.1 km on a liter of gasoline at cruising speed and approximately 22 km per liter at brute driving.
