Engine

One of the technical details that seriously sets Lauge Jensen apart from other nice motorcycles is the engine system. In cooperation with one of the largest engine manufacturers and one of the USA’s biggest specialists in injection systems Uffe Lauge Jensen has developed and put together an engine system that currently has no match.

Along with the company’s own special developed catalyst the engine system has as one of the first passed the strict international Euro 3 Norms in both The USA and Europe. Therefore it is possibly the only internationally endorsed built-in engine system in the world at this moment.
This endorsement is also and essential condition in the type endorsement of the bike following the strictest international norms despite the custom-like concept.

Engine Block

The engine block is a 1,8 litre, two cylinder air-cooled engine where everything form camshafts to valves and pistons are specially made for Lauge Jensen. Despite this it comes in three variants: highly polished aluminium, neutral aluminium and black. It also comes as a special diamond polished Lauge Jensen gala model.

The Injection

The injection is quite unique. It is specially developed for Lauge Jensen in close cooperation between an American specialist and Uffe Lauge Jensen himself. It is intelligent and self-adjusting and is a central part of the unique Lauge Jensen engine system.

The Exhaust

The exhaust and the catalyst are of own make and are developed in Gedved. They are made to work optimally with the engine and the injection.

The engine, injection and exhaust in their perfect harmony fulfil the strictest international norms and regulations: The Euro 3.

The computer of the injection system is made to collect and store information about the individual driver. The engine system uses this knowledge to continuously optimise performance and fuel usage. The injection adapts continuously to the temper and driving style of the individual driver and uses this to adjust fuel and engine performance. On top of giving extra driving comfort it means that the powerful engine can drive up to 28,4 km pr litre without losing effect.

And of course it keeps all existing environmental- and pollution regulations – and more.
