About Uffe Lauge Jensen

Uffe Lauge Jensen does not have the typical education for being a leading motorcycle manufacturer and the first motorcycle manufacturer in Denmark in resent times. His original education is as a mechanic with mobile cranes as his speciality. After different additional educations as insurance agent, beer dealer and tourist guide he began renovating, repairing and building motorcycles for real in his own company Classic World MC.

But actually he began long before that.

When he was 17 he took his first motorcycle apart and rebuilt it into a red dream veteran machine. Naturally it was a Danish Nimbus.

Since then countless motorcycles have been though Uffe Lauge Jensen’s little workshop in Gedved and have been transformed into the dream of every single customer. His motto was: “If you can dream it, I can build it.”

But there was a down side to the passion for these masterpieces. Every single time it was a near impossible task to get the authorities’ approval. It was often necessary to make so many compromises in order to get the seal of approval that that the distance between dream and what was possible was just too great.
Slowly the idea of building a bike, that lived up to his idea of how a bike should look and be like but that also lived up to the demands from the authorities in the countries where such a dream machine could be sold, began to take form.

He refused to accept the impossibility in building beautiful, soulful and unique motorcycles without crossing particularly the Danish tax regulations even though the Danish authorities said it could not be done.

Uffe Lauge Jensen simply would not accept that it was too difficult.

Today at the age of 36 he is realizing his dream of creating an exclusive machine for the choosey buyer that wants something special. A machine that at the same time fully lives up to environmental and pollution norms and that the choosey buyer can therefore ride with a clear conscience. A machine built by the one person in Denmark that has the most experience in realizing the dream of the two wheeled epiphany.
